A simpler way: enlarge Knocker's photo so the center section is actual size or close. Guessing maybe 10" or so. Tape or glue it to foamcore or poster board, cut out holes, paint, install over stub with spinner off. Hold in place with spinner on.

Just MHO, but there's not much difference to me at all. Looks like a lot of work for not much gain.
If anything, I'd call up Fran and get your name on his list and eventually order some mag wheels. That way, you get the mag color and you get a lighter wheel. |

The mag color popped on Chas' ERA, because of his car color. I don't think it will on your car. Actually, I have no idea if mags will look good at all on a polished aluminum Cobra, but I'm willing to try. I don't care. I could always resell them. I'm mainly after the lightweight and it feels special to me.
Unless you're polishing your wheels or painting them black, like Doug's blue 289 ERA, then the visual difference is minimal. To me, of course, but whatever makes you happy. That's the key. Happiness. |
How does this strike you? This is how it will look on an overcast day.

That's a noticeable improvement. The gray actually clashes with the body color.
How did you 'Shop the color onto the wheels? |

Here we go again. Patrick, why haven't you picked up one of my trick 9" low-profile air cleaner setups from Mickmate yet? That TP reminds me of some of my girlfriend's bras I used to have to figure out back in the day.;)

That's a Patrick Pan. Not to be confused with a Turkey Pan. They're similar, yet different. :p |
A Bed Pan would have been better...

You guys must realize that this thread was originally about emissions hose and was accompanied by an under the hood pic that has/had nothing to do with the color of Patrick's wheels. **)
This thread should be ample evidence that Patrick just likes to boost his post count. It's also ample evidence that beige doesn't look good on Cobras. |

Besides, it had been more than an hour since Chas contributed. I think this thread was putting him to sleep between posts. |

B. It turned into 'Extreme Make-Over; fake Cobra edition' because that car really needs one. |
