Curious what the block casting number is....C5AE-XX or similar. Also as stated above, it would be help to verify a true S/O by seeing a clear pic of the oil gallery on the side of the block and of course the back of the block.

All that said, it would still scare me without a lot of teardown and inspection.

I agree, don't buy yourself a second nightmare. Have blykins quote you a price on a nice SCAT stroked 428 build. You'll be happier, I promise.
