I have 2 drag pack 69 mach 1 mustangs. One of them just has a 390. Neither car has a vin matching yours but I would be intrested if you are going to sell the engine. I do agree it is better to sell this engine and build a different one, not just because I would like the engine. The SCJ is externally balanced and that is weaker than an internally balanced engine. Also the after market blocks like the genesis are much stronger than stock blocks. Scat has good price stroker cranks. I bought a kit from A W Brown (586)549-7557 for my cobra. With aftermarket you could build a stronger and more powerful engine for around simmilar money. If you want to spend much less money and have good performance and the correct look of a 427 then biuld a 390. The one I have in my mustang I put in my cobra when I first got it together and it ran great and was fast enough to scare people I took for a ride.
