You do realize that just because you spent a fortune having someone build it for you does in no way mean it is worth anywhere near that, right?

That's a Bullcrap statement!!!

If that were true it would invalidate the price of every production car sold.

I think what Pat is trying to say, and this is an extreme example, is that even though you spend $100,000 on "restifying" a Ford Pinto, it's highly unlikely that the owner will ever get anywhere near his money out of his beautifully "restified" Pinto with the 527ci Cammer.
