I have been married to the same ceterfold for 28 years- damn! I told her already that "Sancho" can take her out on Valentine day. Because, I am driving to Provo for the detail job. I am already ready to go. Even took a road trip to the cold high desert last weekend. Totally different feel then last summer while driving back from the Homecomming. Driving through Baker seeing 120 degrees on the big stick. I sweet soo much you would have thought I pissed in the seat. That was fun!

Typically we have 100 attend. We will usually get 15-20 wives here.

I will have a large presentation on the billet chassis car. I just looked at the pictures of the car and I can say it is the (IMNSHO) the nicest custom car that was ever built. There are so many things we did on that car that never made it on the billet thread (yes, I know, I must finish it!). For example, we made the bushings for the steering rack out of Vespel. It it an extraordinary aerospace plastic. It has phenomenally low "stiction." It is what is used in F1 steering racks. We billeted the rack and pinion from Maraging 300--again, the same stuff used in F1 steering racks. We just went over the top. I think it will be very interesting for all you motor heads.
Sandwich will also be doing a demo on a "fat lip" repair.
And, the food will be great and the company will be BETTER!

You know you have a 80/20 chance of snow and or really cold weather in Utah at that time of the year right?

Actually... Much better than 80/20 or even 50/50 in these here parts!
We only average 20 inches of rain a year in Utah. The average hi temp in Feb is 44 deg.
I pulled up some stats for Feb 14. Only two years showed any precip. The temps were actually pretty good.
Year Max Tmp Precip.

I remember many years when we were all outside with our cars having fun. Sandwich even polished his car a couple of Open Houses back outside.

Len,
That was back when we had global warming. Now that we have climate change, you really have to throw those numbers out the window. Anything could happen according to brother Gore.

I am with Hexnut- global warming- makes everything different.
Kirkham Guys- How about some bad azz billet ski racks?
Should I use the same safety wire as I do on the wing nuts for the snow chains?

I was looking forward to global warming... I guess that means we all must do our part and drive more. We don't want to let the ice age win.

Well I am ready. Leaving Thursday AM plan on spending night in Tonopah then on to Provo on Friday. I can't wait. I will have my cell phone on 559-804-8312 so if anybody in the area give me a call.
