It was more boring than the rest, but I think a big improvement over the last couple of years. There was actually some rubbing and some real racing throughout the race. Yellow flag laps were kept to 4 laps, I would like to see that dropped to 3, but better than the 6-8 lap yellow flag laps from last year. I was out with the wife most of the day yesterday so I recorded it. I did not get to see the last 39 laps as it stopped recording right as they lifted the 2nd red flag. I did see the Newman wreck online though and saw that Jamie won.

As far as the track, this is the 3rd time in recent memory that this has happened at a track, and every time, they say "This track is scheduled to be repaved next year". Sounds like they are waiting too long to do repairs/resurfacing to me. I think Nascar should impose a penalty/reward system for tracks. Make tracks want to be the best bar none. The thing that got under my skin the most was the announcers saying, "Do you think they should tell the drivers you can drive over this patch and we can race for a while, or you can avoid it and we can finish the race." Telling them that would be the same as saying, "Stay in line through 1 and 2. If you cannot finish a pass, before you get to turn 1 don't attempt it."
