Ladies March Topless to Protest Double Standards
Ty McDowell, who organized the march, said she was "enraged" by the turnout of men attracted to the demonstration. The purpose, she said, was for society to have the same reaction to a woman walking around topless as it does to men without shirts on.

Ms. McDowell claims she will try to discourage oglers at her next topless march. If that's the case, I can suggest some women who would not only discourage male oglers, they would make them run away screaming with their hands over their eyes. ... But let's face facts. Men don't wear cowboy boots, western hats and big belt buckles so they will be mistaken for surfers. And women who walk topless in public areas are not doing it so they won't be noticed. Their egos would be crushed if no one paid them any attention.

Where's the video? Krikey, they even got video of the tree falling in the woods and making or not making a sound. Someone MUST have posted the video somewhere!! |

Bloody hell! I was in Maine that weekend for a mini-holiday! And I had proposed staying at a hotel right up the street from the march...but no..... my wife wanted to be a bit closer to our favourite lobster place and the beach...

Well I saw a few in there that weren't to bad, but I bet the men were just along to try to grab a feel. I also saw a few that they would have been just as well off if they had kept their tops on.
