Dish network sucks

I recently sold my house bought a larger property. As part of the process I investigated my options for Internet, phone and TV. I was working with Dish Network on a bundled service and was told I could get all three for about $160 a month. I agreed and the rep signed me up with the phone and Internet being bundled through AT&T. What I didn't know is that he lied to me as they haven't had a contract with them for several years now and took my personal information and committed me to a two year contract with AT&T for over $150 a month for just the phone and Internet. This is additional to the DISH service for &150 a mont. there is no way in hell I'm paying over $300 a month for the 3 services. When I discovered the lie and deceit because I got a bill from AT&T I called DISH and was told I was past the "cancellation period for misinformation" that I would be charged $402 to cancel. After many phone calls and rants on their Facebook page I was blocked from any posting and they won't even respond to my calls. Save yourself the headaches and don't do business with Dish Network.

Sorry that you got caught in that mess. I have been with Dish for about 9 years and have had great service though I don't have my Phone and Internet through the. When I first got their service, they were with AT&T. Then a year or so later I received a letter from AT&T telling me they had switched their package over to Direct TV. AS I have my DSL through AT&T already on a separate package it never affected me, but the lying of the Dish Network person should not be put up with and they should refund your money.

I feel your pain. I was with DirectTV and loved them until a neighbor's tree got too big and I couldn't get a signal. I switched to Dish and got a clear signal but from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm every day I got severe pixilation (is that a word?) but I could never get a tech out to the house while it was happening. My internet was a DSL line on Verizon which dropped out whenever it rained hard. Soggy underground copper cable, I think. I put up with this crap until my two year contract with Dish expired and I switched the whole mess over to Cox cable. Problems solved.

call the attorney general......i've unleashed them on AT&T before with success...they are whores..you should get un-bundled....
