hey, Steve! I don't know how to shrink it, but I sure am glad you figured out how to spell schnauzer (well, you were close, anyway!)

and, yeah, he is cute!!! ;)

hey,littlecobra 05-08-2005 09:07 PM

in honor of my new tires, thought I'd 'memorialize' the terrific old ones..... all my trophies are clear acrylic or something. don't show up in a photo....

Ah, Sunday. Now that was a good day. Only broke two things. I am doing better.

I have the cobra up on the platform draining. She gets new oil, oilfilter, a baffle in the drivers side valve cover, a new taller air cleaner and cleaned.

Man those dirt roads are bad on the car.

Well, I'll do the twenty-posts-on-one-page deal.

Ron61 05-09-2005 06:06 AM

Steve,

If this dog is what you want for an avatar, you will need an animation program to make it look ok when you downsize it. I am assuming that you meant it looked bad when you tried to put it in as your avatar. If that is what you meant, send it to me and I will see what I can do to make it look better as an avatar. I am sure that you know you have to do the custom avatar thing. As for adding any wording, Earl can explain that as I haven't did it and he has, so he already knows the steps.

Ron :)

4RE KLR 05-09-2005 07:28 AM

Naa I don't need any wording. Just the little guy running back and forth is ok with me. I tried to resize it and it looked stupid. I could not get it small enough and still make out what it was. It looked like a little grey dot going back and fourth.

I'll send it to you Ron.

See I told you guys I like dogs.

Kristen:
The truth of the matter is I can't spell anything right. I have had trouble with that all my life. Must be a mental thing. Or it could be I'm just plain stupid! I don't know.

4RE KLR 05-09-2005 07:33 AM

Ron,

You have mail.

hey,littlecobra 05-09-2005 07:48 AM

wellll, it must be a mental thing, cuz ya don't seem too stupid to me....
I've been all over this forum, commenting on you guys spelling. And guess what? I even got corrected once for incorrect punctuation from Edley!!! (memory like a steel trap- it's a curse)

it must be the teacher in me. Some guys spell so badly it's beyond correcting. I was just giving you a hard time....
Now Edley, he must be a cunning linguist, because he never makes errors. I know, I look..... :D :D
have a great day!

can't believe none of ya'll commented on me changing my avatar. I guess it was time to move on from csx 2128..... :(

BMK 05-09-2005 08:25 AM

4RC KLR

A miniture schnauzer and a 54 " cut mower..

Maybe she has cleaned out the joint Bank account already

hey,littlecobra

Hi there in TX. Sorry as an Honoury TCC member I have been letting the side down a little.

Been over travelling through China for the last few weeks. Back in Australia now for preparation to travel to the States. My tickets arrived yesterday and I arrive at Phoenix Az. on the 16th of June.

Looking forward to the big drive over to London Ohio and then back. Hershal and I then travel up to SAAC at Fontana Cal.

Anne is planning to leave me I think.... as I arrive home for a week and then head to Fiji for 10 days.

..do you think I should hide the Cobra and clean out the joint bank account...

See you all soon.

Bernie

4RE KLR 05-09-2005 09:39 AM

Kristen:

I know you are kidding. I get that all the time. I am used to it. I do not know what it is, I do not feel stupid at all, But I can't spell for crap! SEE what I mean.

I did notice the Avatar change. I almost didn't recognize you. Did you get the new rubber mounted yet? You should sell theold ones on Ebay and say there is a shadow of Mother Teresa on them, you would make a mint :)

Bernie:
Yes that would be interesting allright. The dog is so small he fits in Tom's hand. He could ride in the drink holder I guess. I had one of these dogs a while back they are so energetic. Somone poisioned him to death along with three other dogs on our block a few years back. Only one dog was not killed by this so we all felt like we knew who did it but could not prove anything. I suppose that is why I am looking for a humane way to solve the problem. Our previous dog was an inside dog and never went outside without us being with him so we felt he was an inocent victim included to confuse the police investigation. It is over now though.

Ron61 05-09-2005 12:02 PM

Kristen,

Not so. I did notice your new avatar. Just couldn't figure out anything clever to say about a picture of a wheel and tire. :D

Ron  **)

hey,littlecobra 05-09-2005 12:09 PM

obviously, you do not realize the significance of me replacing my tires. shame shame. :p

Kristen ;)
:D

LwCwb 05-09-2005 01:06 PM

Wheres the tire smoke in that avatar Kristen!?:D

blykins 05-09-2005 01:15 PM

What did you break Tru?

4RE KLR 05-09-2005 02:39 PM

Mike:
Your clever enough to add the smoke to the picture. Why don't you lift the picture and add it, and then send it the renegade blonde

LwCwb 05-09-2005 05:24 PM

Helped my soon to be (maybe) step-sister (6 years old) learn to ride her bike without training wheels... first words were "I can't do it without training wheels," two hours later.... "I don't need those stupid training wheels anymore!" Next step is to teach her to turn WITHOUT falling or picking the bike up and turning it around...

:)
Pretty sure I could do that 4RE Killer.... maybe tomorrow or some other time... im tired, hungry and I have a T-bone calling my name.

Edley Rondinone 05-09-2005 10:14 PM

Kristen: Where was the picture taken of "the beautifully restored CSX 3016" , the one that is in your gallery? (blue with white stripes, No. 7) How old is that picture? Do you happen to know where that particular car is?

hey,littlecobra 05-10-2005 07:33 AM

Edley, I have no idea.... It was on the 'CC home page' gallery, and I liked it so much that I saved it to my gallery. It should have gone to 'my favorites', as I didn't take the picture.... I collect in my gallery lots of pics of cars with the white pipes. Sorry. If I come across it again, I'll let you know. :)
Kristen

Ron61 05-10-2005 11:19 AM

Kristen,

You are correct. Obviously I didn't recognize the significance of you replacing your tires. I thought we all did that when the old ones wore out. Can we expect to see those hanging as ornaments on your outside Christmas tree next Christmas? :3DSMILE:

Ron
