Tru,

Then if I75 is different every three miles we have you beat. Here we have pot holes every two blocks. If you run through one that is kind of smooth you just figure there is a small car down in it. The alignment shops around here are doing the best business of anyone.

Our pot holes are so large, I found a film crew shooting a mutual of Omaha comercial in one.

Ron61 03-13-2008 01:13 PM

:D

Where do you think they filmed all of those craters in the Star Gate Series. We have one pot hole so big that I saw three guys unloading a boat at it last week. %/

Ron

You guys do not know big pot holes. They are so big in Texas that we name them. The Most famous one is called Oklahoma.

wtm442 03-13-2008 06:36 PM

They could always put this house in a pothole and burn it! :):)

Warren,

That is a terrible color for a house like that. It should also have polka dots all over it.

Ron :)

trularin 03-14-2008 06:41 AM

Ron, don't say that. Warren must have been painting that house for some time.

Warren, my goodness what a revealing color. How long did it take to paint your house?

See Ron, you have to be PC with this sort of thing.

wtm442 03-14-2008 06:49 AM

Good Morning world!

So ya like that color, huh Ron? OMG. Thankfully not one of my neighbors.

Tru - my taste buds are a lot better than that color. YucK with a Capital K.

Read an article in Sundays paper about an Irish Bakery about 4 or 5 miles from my house. Never knew it was there. Stopped in yesterday and bought a loaf of Irish Soda bread with raisins. OMG is that unbelievably good. I hope Kristen has some on her vacation. I know I'll be going back to that bakery! :)

As a matter of fact, its time for breakfast. I wonder how that bread would be for French toast? Ummmmmmmmmmmm :3DSMILE::3DSMILE:

Tru
I've painted ONE house in my lifetime, and that was when I was 16 years old.

Boy, do I love vinyl siding. Looks just OK but love the no maintenance!

Ron61 03-14-2008 07:37 AM

Warren,

I agree with you about the vinyl siding. I painted my house three times I think it was and decided this is to darn much work. I have had the vinyl siding on now for around 21 years and it has faded in our hot sun, but still beats the painting every other year. Plus the extra insulation the 3/4ths inch thick Styrofoam they put under it helps the rest of the houses insulation.

Ron :)

trularin 03-14-2008 08:07 AM

I am in agreement, vinyl siding is great.

I am not sure raisins in my French toast would be tasty. The idea is interesting, but not the raisins.

SF Sour dough bread is very nice with stacked ham and swiss. Side of pickle and maybe a glass of ice water...Hmmmm...Lunch!!!

:D :D

Ron61 03-14-2008 08:14 AM

:D

I get a lot of the SF Sour Dough bread here. I buy it quite a bit as it does make for great sandwiches.

Those aren't raisins in that bread Tru. The Irish like ants so they use them in bread for taste. :JEKYLHYDE

Being the thrifty folks the Irish are, they roll the rat droppings on the counters right into the dough.
