Shoulder is starting to feel better. Only really hurts when I bend over and reach out to something. Nice day here, I spent the morning spraying the weeds. I really should have gotten it done last weekend, but I didn't. I need to trim around the fence lines and house, but I want to make sure the spray has a day or so to penetrate. Supposed to rain on Sunday, so I guess I need to motivate tomorrow and trim.

Warren, I swear I feel older than I am. I still don't know what happened, I swear that it was just 2 days ago that I could run for miles, work all day, make love all night and do it all again the next day without getting too tired to function.

Joe,

You will never get very old. Your lying is to good for that.

I swear that it was just 2 days ago that I could run for miles, work all day, make love all night and do it all again the next day without getting too tired to function! :)

Now a few centuries ago that could have described me. Now I get tired just pushing the buttons on my remote. :JEKYLHYDE

Ron

Ron - What - no power steering on your remote?

Just spent a hours prepping all the veggies for my big corned beef dinner I'm cooking. Boy it smells good.

Joe - I'll take over the "making love all night" if your wife is OK with it. That will give you more time to work and go running.:LOL::LOL: The only problem would be the commuting time! **)**) As soon as I got there, I'd fall asleep until it was time to drive home.

Man is the wind blowing hard ... but still a fantastic day ... just a few clouds and bright sun. Too bad it only got to 39°F today.

Just got through filing my taxes. Owe $530 this year. I thought I might owe some, I reduced my monthly deductions after buying the house, so I wasn't too surprised. The wife is one, though, who thinks it is better to get a refund than to owe. I showed her that the interest on the $530 since January added up to almost $1, so if you add up the whole year, it is a couple more dollars for us.

Joe,
Looks like your old age is causing you to have memory problems.Maybe hallucinations too.
Are you real sure that you could once do all that ???

Might get another opinion from your wife.:)

Holy crap, It is snowing big time. Heading towards Warren, but dumping here.

I was going to put two windows in the new barn, but not anymore. Will need to plow and blow, we are getting 10 inches.

No once upon a time, I was a stallion. And I still don't think of myself as old. I will be 35 in just over a month. I was young, energetic, and unstoppable. Then I continued to eat the good food she cooks, and I ended up going up a pant size or 10. I look at old pictures and think, damn I was a scrawny little bastard.

Joe Wicked 03-21-2008 08:10 PM

Ron,
Any word on the pups? Just curious to how the X-rays went.

392cobra 03-21-2008 08:12 PM

Joe,
I didn't think you were OLD like Ron OLD.Heck ,nobody is close to being as OLD as Ron.

I didn't even think you were Warren OLD.You know like how Warren needs binoculars to still see the hill he is over in his rear view mirror.%/

Gee Joe,you're just at the front edge of middle age.:)

wtm442 03-21-2008 10:45 PM

Thirty five? That's just out of high school in Tennessee!

Fred - have fun and make sure the tires are inflated to 150 psi when BB is on the back.

Tru - probably the last snowstorm in your area, so just let it melt. Forecast here is for no snow over the next ten days.

Hell, I'm planning my gardens now. Need to buy a small roto-tiller for my small garden and flower beds.

Anyone have a suggestion - Roto tiller?

wtm442 03-21-2008 10:55 PM

If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle.

If the horse has one front leg in the air the person died as a result of wounds received in battle.

If the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.

P.S. Tru -
If the horse has all four legs off the ground, it is running or dead and gravity no longer works

:)

Joe,

The x-rays were ok but Frenchy has a mild Pancreatitis right now and that is what is making him feel bad as the Pancreas is inflamed. For now they put him on a different diet and gave me some pain medicine for him. This is the same food that I had to feed the two that I hap put to sleep in December and April. Also Ken said to just feed him small amounts several times a day instead of a full amount a couple of times. This food is easier to digest and the small amounts will digest easier. I have to take him back in the 31st for another blood test to see where the Pancreatic level is and then we will have an idea if this is just a mild form caused from something he ate or if it is going to be a permanent thing.

Ron

trularin 03-22-2008 07:21 AM

It is too much work to take care of horses, been there, done that.

Well, we have a nice 3 inch dusting...looks like most of it went north or south, but not on our place for once.

Joe, You are in the ranks with us. We all could go all day and love all night...in our past.

:D :D :D

Ron61 03-22-2008 07:54 AM

I think all of you are farther along than you think with all of the hallucinations you are talking about. But it is nice to dream isn't it.

Good thing I live in Texas and grew up in Nebraska then.

As far a small Rototiller, I bought a Troy-Built Weed whacker at Lowes that you can buy other attachments to. I bought the Rototiller attachment and it works good for small gardens/flower beds. You will spend all day if you are doing a garden of any real size.
The trimmer is this one http://www.troybilt.com/webapp/wcs/s...10131_55008_-1

Not even in your wildest wet dreams. Maybe with Frenchy. :p:p:p:p

How's your new barn coming along? Going to tear down the old one?

I would assume that the rain and snow so far this winter has been good for the Xmas trees.
