All this talk about coils ... remove the distributor, put all the plug wires in your pocket and spin the distributor. If you do not jump more than 1 foot, replace the coil. Of course, if you have a magneto, do not attempt the pocket test. BLASTOFF.

Kristen - enjoyed all of your photo essay on the Texas CC section, as always. I skipped your favorite dinners (PNB&J) tonight ... and had a corned beef dinner. Hopefully I can finish all of the leftovers by having hash for breakfast and grilled corned beef sandwiches for lunch before Turkey Day.

Temperature got all the way up to 41 ºF this afternoon. Its 34 ºF now. Guess its Novembbbbbbuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrr.

At least there is NO SNOW.

Fox finally woke up and flushed OJ. Its about time. That a$$ should be hung by his ba**s.

Kristen

I found a pink-thong turkey for Thanksgiving. Maybe you can use it as a mascot for the 1/8 mile drag team! :JEKYLHYDE :D :p  :) **)

hey,littlecobra 11-20-2006 07:26 PM

that is a very odd picture. you must be very disturbed!! Is THAT your thanksgiving dinner?????!!!!! :D
I would prefer to have a much leaner looking turkey; she looks too matronly!!!
:p :p
K

wtm442 11-20-2006 07:31 PM

Leaner? She wears a size 12A bra. Twiggy Turkey in a pink thong.

Thing a thong of thick pence, thwee bags full.

You're right - I am disturbed and loving every minute. :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: If you can't laugh at yourself, we'd all have to laugh about Ron .. and thats no fun at all.

Hey Tru - been shoveling yet?

wtm442 11-20-2006 07:46 PM

I guess you would rather have that as your mascot as compared to my pink-thong turkey? :o :o :o

392cobra 11-20-2006 07:51 PM

Both Frenchy and I think you both are a little sick.

hey,littlecobra 11-20-2006 07:51 PM

hmmmm, maybe at this time of thanksgiving yours would be better??? Might keep mine handy for the heat of the uh, summer??? ;) :D

hey,littlecobra 11-20-2006 07:53 PM

Kristen,

How in the world did you get Fred to pose for that picture?  I know it isn't Warren because he already has his own. %/

Brent,

I always carry a spare OEM coil and coil wire in my tool kit just in case. Also drawing diagrams, two spare spark plugs, various wrenches and sockets, a can of oil, some extra automotive wires, and a picture of Sandra Dee when she was young. Oh yea, and a can of that spare tire stuff to get me to the next station if I have a flat. And an extra fan belt. And if something happens I make sure to park on the very edge of the road side nearest the canyon drop off in case I want to push it off the side. :JEKYLHYDE

:)

Warren,

You are correct about having to be able to laugh at yourself. I mess up so many things that if I couldn't do that I would slit my wrists at times. I have an electric garage door opener with a key entry also. Well looking at the key I decided long ago that anyone with any brains could easily stick a key into the keyhole and force it to make contact and open the door. So I went inside and installed a regular flip switch to disable the key entry. Once when I was driving, I tried to open the door when I got home and the key wouldn't open it. Normally before going driving I flip the switch inside to enable it so I don't have to carry a remote. Anyway I went into the house, turned the alarms off, opened the door and got the car inside. Then I proceeded to waste over a half hour tracing wires from the opener to the key entry to find I had forgotten to flip the switch. It was either sit down and laugh to throw a hammer through the wall.

Is there an illness?

Kristen, when did you put up a wall in your back yard??

Ron61 11-21-2006 05:47 AM

Tru,

The only real illness among us is mental. Warren and Fred seem ok but I am not sure about me.

wtm442 11-21-2006 07:25 AM

Got down to 24 ºF last night, but its a balmy 34 ºF right now. Just right for working on my turkey tan.

Fred - guess I'll have to check to see if my turtle froze last night. I wanna go for a ride, especially after listening to Cosby's 200 MPH clip yesterday.

Piiiiiiiipes :JEKYLHYDE :JEKYLHYDE

392cobra 11-21-2006 08:20 AM

Why are you mistreating your turtle ???
Did you trade her in for a turkey in a thong ?

Just doesn't sound right Warren.

trularin 11-21-2006 08:35 AM

Yep, there is illness.

You all arn't right in the head.

19 degrees two nights ago, I had to put on a coat.

wtm442 11-21-2006 08:44 AM

My turtle is my business ... plus it could eat your bongo playing frog in one gulp. :p :p :p

Got down to 60 ºF downstairs last night. Just opened the window and turned on the fan to the back porch which is in bright sunlight. Back porch is about 85 ºF right now. Got to use all the solar power I can, seeing I'm on a fixed income. Got to wait at least another 4 years before SS payments kick in. Its tough in retirement. You ought to try it Tru.

Time to pay some bills .... UGGGHHHHHH

trularin 11-21-2006 11:10 AM

I have 20 years to go to retire.

wtm442 11-21-2006 09:29 PM

Tru

Sorry - retirement date is NOT measured in years. Its measured by your net worth. If I gave you $10M, would you retire or show up for work tomorrow?

Tough decision, eh? :o :o :o :o

Ron61 11-22-2006 04:24 AM

:)

Warren,

If you will give me $10M I promise I will stop posting on any site. I would even buy property in another state where the weather is better this time of year. I can have my bank contact yours for the transfer of funds.
