See, CDC used the term generically to describe a worthless multitude. You keep using the term as a personal attack.

Take another three days to think about it. I'm sure it'll come to you sooner or later...I haven't given up on you. :)

VRM 05-28-2007 01:30 PM

CdC,
So if we are 'fighting them there so we don't have to fight them here', then why do US intel reports say that we are mostly fighting Iraqis who just want us out of their country?

And I think a lot of you could stand to learn some things about mainstream Muslims. Try here:
http://pewresearch.org/assets/pdf/muslim-americans.pdf

Lets go after the bad guys that we need to go after, rather than the ones that paranoid people see behind every corver.

And BTW, you left out the Canadians.

Fred...that is one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen posted at this site. Well done. ;)

I'd rather see the frog's ass.

Oh yes, one of those was unconsciously left off. At that moment I was having an out of body experience so it wasn't me actually posting.

Jamo,

It looks to me like you moderate and give a time out to people who do not agree with your way of thinking. Commander baiscly threatens CDC and you put him on a time out but CDC threatens to send someone to take care of Commander and you joke with him. Looks to me like fair is fair CDC should have a time out. I am not trying to start something here but earlier in the thread it looked to me like CDC was calling east and west coast cowards and that the middle of nowhere is the only people with the balls to fight for what is right. Looks to me like to moderator needs moderated. JMHO.

Terry - you simply don't know the rules - you can call entire segments of our society reasonable stuff, but not each other. Besides, I had a time out a week or so ago. Also, I stated "deal with" him, not take care of him - two very different things - plus I sort of forgot the tongue/smile emo. Besides, the truth will set you free - it is the middle of nowhere - the middle of the country who are fighting for what's right, generally not the coast people, except for me, of course.

Now, before you take off on me again, I lost my son, my only child - he was a Marine - he never came home. Do you have something negative to say about that especially on Memorial Day?

Ron61 05-28-2007 06:22 PM

POLITICAL CORRECTNESS is a doctrine fostered by delusional, illogical
liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream
media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible
to pick up a turd by the clean end. **)

This is not my statement but one that I cut out of another sites thread that has a similiar feud going. I just thought this thread needed a little logic introduced into it.

CDC,
I am sorry to hear about your son. There is no way I would ever say anything bad about anyone in the service. I have a son in the Navy and am very proude of him. My son joined the Navy before 911 and has re-enlisted 2x.

Now as for the rules. In the context of your reply, "deal with him" or as I wrote "take care of him" sounds the same to me. It sounds like a threat. I have tried not to reply in this thread because debating with you or Commander is not possible. Either people agree with either one of you or they are wrong. There is no winner in a debate with either one of you. Either one of you do not want to debate. You want to argue and threaten. As far as my statment about Jamo "the moderator". I only see very little about what go's on at Club Cobra and on the threads. I might have stepped on his toes a bit. I do not know if I am correct or not about his moderating. I only know mostly the moderation on this thread. Jamo, If I am wrong, I appolige. If I am not, Then I don't. Everybody can have there own opinion on the subject.
I am out of this thread and have no intention of logging back on to it. The arguing is boring.

I had the pleasure of meeting a young man from Iowa last week. he was stopping by on his way from Iraq via Germany to Texas. His second tour and I must say he said he was getting quite disillusioned with the whole thing.

Hope they can all get home safely and soon.

As of this date in Iraq:

47 countries have reopened their embassies in Iraq.
3100 schools have been renovated, 38 new schools have been completed, and 268 new schools are under construction. 4.3 million Iraqi children are presently in school.
20 universities, 46 colleges and 4 research centers are currently open and operating.
96% of Iraqi children under age 5 have been immunized against polio.
3500 new Iraqi police officers are graduating every 8 weeks.
1100 new construction projects are currently underway.
There are 2 million new Iraqi telephone subscribers.
75 radio stations, 180 newspapers, and 10 television stations are operating.

An AP news article today documents the fact that the coalition forces have shut down an al-Qaida hideout north of Baghdad which the terrorists were using as a prison and torture chamber. Note that the torture which the Muslim terrorists inflict is somewhat more severe than having to wear underwear on their heads, consisting of such humanitarian practices as hanging their prisoners from the ceiling and beating them with clubs until they broke bones. The author of the AP report, Ravi Hessman, wrote “Military officials said the operation, launched on tips from residents, showed that Iraqis in the turbulent Diyala province were turning against Sunni insurgents and beginning to trust US troops.”

As usual, VRM you present only the half of the story which supports the anti-US position. You really should read something other than Howard Dean’s talking points sometime, sport.
