Y'know - part of the fun I have with arguing with people such as yourselves is in trying to guess when you will decide that sarcasm becomes a valid debate point.
CdC made some statements with no facts to back them up, and Jamo agreed with them. Both of you also assumed that I said something that I didn't. I call you on it, and then I offer up some evidence indicating that CdCs statements were wrong, and then suddenly you guys start acting like 4th graders. This is how the drunk-on-kool-aid mighty GOP defends it policies? No wonder you have to vote for Hillary!

Jamo, you said:
"Nope. You're assuming "a majority of the people fighting us" constitutes a majority of the people in Iraq. Do you have some super secret statistics upon which to base such an assumption?"

before you changed your response to agree with CdC. The ISG report also mentions the same thing as General Dannatt, but I really don't feel like re-reading the thing to find it. Perhaps you should take a few minutes and skim through it (since you obviously have not) and then you can be in on the super secret statistics as well.

Steve

Just to be clear, I changed that post before it was responded to, thereby in conformity with my ethical stand about reinventing posts on the All Cobra Talk forum.

I saw that CDC had already made the point...

Obviously you think only 4th graders can understand and agree with your positions. It's good to know one's target audience.

Steve - I'm just playing with you - I don't give a rats butt what you have to say or any interest in what you have to say about what I'd posted, about the GOP or any other thing that you can think of. Luckily, neither one of us has anything important to add to the discussion of world events, but you do seem to value your opinion above all others and somehow have come up with the time to consider and reconsider every single event as the years have gone by.

I'd say this, in closing - statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness.

Steve - think of your three best friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.

And yes, delusional people - insane people, drive the rest of us to using sarcasm, I'm sure this happens to you all the time. Deal with it.

Jamo,
I could really care less that you changed it. The meaning was close enough. I thought your comment about 'secret statistics' was worth addressing as those statistics are available to anyone who feels like looking, and obviously you have not.

Well, since we are already there... I know you are, but what am I?
(Does that make you feel a little more at home? )

There are a number of generals and statesmen who understand and agree with my positions (or perhaps, I with theirs) - I guess they must be 5th graders. Let me know when you catch up and we can do this again.

Until then, have a nice weekend, and don't forget your homework.

Steve

Thanks for the quote - s/b I've elected, but perhaps you got the point this time?

Here's your Know It All lyrics, they really fit your style of communication:

You hear what he said?
There he goes, got his facts twisted
Hotshot, acts like he really knows a lot
All vocation, no education

Don't you know that he's a jack of all trades?
And a master of none
Not even one!

Know-it-all! Know-it-all!
Know-it-all! Know-it-all!

Nobody like him, had every career
From septic tank cleaner to drug test volunteer
Hotshot, acts like he really knows a lot
Listen to him and your brain will surely rot

Don't you know that he's a jack of all trades?
And a master of none
Not even one!

Know-it-all! Know-it-all!
Know-it-all! Know-it-all!

"Yeah, Leonardo Da Vinci was great in Titanic.
Henry Ford sure made a great President.
I like that song, by Deep Purple,
'Slow Motion Walter'."

If he's talkin', I'm walkin'
Doesn't know that he sounds foolish
He's misleading, is it inbreeding?
Loves to butt in, wish he'd shut his mouth!

Know-it-all! Know-it-all!
Know-it-all! Know-it-all!
Know-it-all! Know-it-all!
Know-it-all! Know-it-all!
Know-it-all!

Nothing about Nuremburg equates to Iraq. There WERE defendants at Nuremburg that WERE just following orders and were found not guilty off.Others CLAIMING to be following orders were found to be complicate and were found guilty.

There is no constitution in awar.Get that thru your skull.

And exactly what part of chain of command don't you get?
