No question Jr. wanted the number 8. Call it 'lease', 'own', 'sale' or whatever. NASCAR had no problem with Jr. getting the number, DEI just wouldn't let it go. I think thats pretty cold.

...never was a big Earnhardt fan, Sr or Jr, but Sr sure could drive, he was the man I loved to hate!
