I am not at all against our trying to drill and provide more of our own oil but that is not going to solve the problem. I feel the only thing that is going to really make any difference is to cut back on what we use. As long as Americans feel there is no end to the oil, they are just going to keep using it as fast as they can. We really need to provide more of our own as China and other developing countries are using more and more of the imported oil from the oil exporting countries. But unless we cut back and stop using more and more, there is no way to stop the inevitable ending of this. We need to concentrate on more ways to make alternative fuel instead of just making a token effort to please a few and letting the oil companies continue to make record profits every quarter. Wish I know of a way to make some kind of alternative fuel that was both efficient and clean. I could sell it to the oil companies for millions so they could keep it off the market.
