And just read over Reuters that Kimmy is now threatening military action against SK AND ships in international waters. UN is wringing their hands and gnashing their teeth. Admits that any actions have to be 'pursued' by China to be effective.
But remember, NK, not a REAL threat to peace!

North Korea has always been a big threat to any peace. And China just wants them as a buffer so we won't have troops on their border. Even Russia is starting to get worried about them. They would make just as an effective buffer if that area was a large piece of radioactive glass. And given long enough they will use their new toys on anyone they can get to with them. They would love to be able to hit Alaska or the West Coast. I have always been more afraid of them getting a nuclear bomb than anyone else.

And who sold Nuclear Technology and Information to the bloody DPRK? So then they can develop it and forward the technology on to Syria, Iran and others
China … Ummm … WRONG
Russia … Ummm … WRONG
France … Ummm … WRONG

Answer : The Terrorist state of ISRAEL!
Hey Israel wants to bomb the (Use any 4 letter word here starting with F and ending with K) out of any Arab State that wants Nuclear technology to make Nuclear Power to supply energy for homes and businesses, but the murdering terrorist scum sell Nuclear Technology to others outside the middle east, like the North Koreans, so they can make NUCLEAR WEAPONS.
You guys are having a GO at the DPRK and the risk of them selling it to the Arabs. Start with the Israelis first, they should be bombed for selling this technology to the North Koreans in the first bloody place.
And before you say “ RUBBISH”, go research it, It was just on Japanese Media a few days ago, they were asking why the NPT does not work, because Israel does not need to follow the NPT and can sell the Technology to other states including terrorist states.
About time the world did something about the Israelis and their Nuclear Program because it is them trying to make a quick buck that nuclear weapons will fall in the hands of other terrorists.
Wonder how long this next ban will be!

Latest news: Sounds as if that fool in North Korea is going to start a war without even using any pretense. This is a very unstable situation now and has been ever since that so called armistice was signed, but this is the closest they have came to launching another all out attack on the South.

You have to wonder how a lunatic leader in an impoverished nation like NK could bring the world to the brink of nuclear war. Obviously China must play an important role in bringing NK under control.
I watched an in-depth program on NK last year. It appears like the NK government has basically brainwashed the entire population into believing that they must be prepared to defend themselves against an imminent invasion from the US. These people seem to really believe that the US is about to invade any minute. They also appear to be oblivious to the fact that the entire nation is literally starving.

Wayne,
The only people over there that aren't starving is their military and they don't have the best food. Go 5 miles out of Pongyang in any direction and it is a 3rd world country. Any person that survives until they are old enough to join their military does so for the food. And they are brought up to fear an invasion. During the war, one of the first places they would run to when they over ran one of our positions was the mess area. So our infantrymen got to where they would set up 50 caliber machine guns off to the side and when everyone fell back and they all mobbed the mess area they would just slaughter them. North Korea had no army when they were pushed back across the 38th parallel until China sent their troops in to help them.

Very interesting first hand tidbit, Ron. Amazing how a country could be 'stuck' in such a timewarp nowadays. the really scary part to me is that NOBODY is really sure who is calling the shots over there now. Il was out of sight for almost 2 years (until a brief appearance in April), and the bets are that whoever is trying to line up to replace him is trying to out-macho one another to curry favor. Hmm..how to best impress a psychotic mass murderer??

Still think NK is no threat?

Perfect opportunity...
For the US to test its long range anti ballistic missile systems. Destroy the sucker as soon as it is launched and then refuse to comment on the action. That may give Nk and others pause for reflection.

I sure wish there was a rail gun or particle beam accelerator sitting up there in orbit just waiting to punch a hole in or vaporize the midsection of that missile the instant it clears the launch pad.

Buzz,
Destroy it before it clears the launch pad and that way you set them back for a little longer until they can clear the debris and build another one. And believe me, they don't have a lot of good places like most countries to build something like that. I see they are hauling the new one to set it up for launch and they are trying desperately to get one that will reach at least Alaska and preferable the West Coast. Speculation is that this new one might have the range to just reach Alaska, but no one knows for sure. Also even though they have built a few bombs, at this time they don't have the ability to make them small enough to put in any missile war head and that is one reason they are so busy trying to develop powerful missiles so they can haul larger war heads. And so the circle goes with those fools that run the country.

I wished we'd move a Star Wars platform within range and "test" it when they "test" their missle.
