Ron ... the main problem I see is that most people today have no idea what happened on Korea ... that`s why it is called the forgotten war . Some of us are old enough to remember what it was all about . There are still several veterans here in the Marine Corps League who were in Korea and I grew up with a boy whose older brother was killed in Korea . That was really bad as his father went upstairs and killed himself with a shotgun .
When I was in Basic , we still had cadre who were vets from Korea and some of the training was based on what happened there .... but for the most part today , that experience is gone .... and it appears that the current administration has no desire to understand what happened ... and that you can`t solve things by talking ( I still remember the truce " talks " ) .
