I never considered Clinton a liberal, he too went to the dark side! And yes there are lots of dems to blame as well, you would be hard pressed to find any politician that's not corrupt! What we have though, was country that leaned right for too long and shifted the tax burden on the middle class. And yes we had great stability when the Tax burden was on the rich, the reason the revenue went up was the largest increase is social security tax ever, and Reagan was using it as part of the general funds, just like he did with the teachers' pension in California.
