In my limited knowledge of the issue it appears that the problem is occurring in the later edition SPF's with the emergency brake calipers. The change over from the previous calipers has created the "problem". My SPF #2378 has had no problems with brake failure or fade even while tracking the car. I am understanding that the old caliper was a four piston unit whereas the new rear units are a single piston. It appears that a vacuum booster helps alleviate the situation but it is not as good as what was supplied previously. A number of people are working on this issue to come up with a resolution.
