Default RR tracks

None that I know of Fred, but give me a couple of days and I bet I can find a route that will have some.

We would be interested in going to Whistler Aug 2/3. Can't confirm our availability right now, Paul is working in China for 8 weeks and I need to check with him. But put us on the list for now.
Thanks!

O.K. then, let's do Whistler on August 2/3. Rather than get a condo for just one night, which will be difficult. we'll can stay at one of the hotels in the Village. I will get a list of them, cost and availability and post it here. Lodging in the Village always has underground parking.

Default Where to stay

I feel that the best place to "be" in Whistler is in the Village. If you have not been to Whistler you need to understand that the village is where most things originate. The Gondola to the top of the mountain is right there, bike rentals (BTW you can rent a mountain bike, take it to the top of the mountain on the gondola and ride it down) plenty of good eating places and lots and lots of shops.

The Pan Pacific Hotel is right there at the base of the mountain in the village. You can see it at www.panpacific.com. Summer rates are pretty resonable:

Studio $159 CAD=$103 US
1 bedroom $209 CAD=$135 US
2 bedroom $259CAD=$168 US

If this seems like a good place to you, give them a call and book a room then post here.

Bish

OOPS, Just checked and they have a minumum two (2) night stay, so that won't work. I'll get back to ya!!!

Default Where to stay redux!

I just checked with the Crystal lodge, www.crystal-lodge.bc.ca and no problem with a one night stay. Pretty reasonably priced, underground parking, right in the middle of the Village and at this point they have rooms available. The lady I spoke with said they can give us a group deal, they just need to know how many rooms. So if you guys will get baclk to me I will see what I can do.

So there ya go.

Bish

P.S. It's pet friendly Neal

We went to Whistler for the first time late last summer, and it was fantastic!

Sherrie and I stayed in the village (plenty of shopping), went on a Hummer tour, and went on an ATV tour over a weekend. Great fun for the money!

Count us in Bish. We'll take a standard room... sans rain.

Let me know what is needed next.

Thanks...

I just checked with the Crystal Lodge and they tell me if we have 15 rooms, the rate will be $89. I have to call back on Monday with a count. At this point, assuming everyone in this thread is going, we have 12. I feel pretty confident that another 3 will join. Once we get the res/rate, all you gotta do is call and put your name in.

Hi all...Perry and I are game for the weekend too! It'll be great to see everyone again. A standard room is good enough for us. Let us know once things are settled.
