Hi Mickmate. Yeah, that's my guess too. I've "scaled" the various pics and used my Thor hammer as the standard and I'm guessing the total length of the screwdriver to be about 11.5" to 12" which would give a shank length of between 7" and 8" dependent on the actual handle length.
