Let's try this;

How's that? Those things look pretty *****'n to me. Are you going to base line your test motor with a good single four before going to the Webers?

The guy who owns the engine we will be dyno'ing has a set of 48IDA's on it right now and what we are looking to do is a comparison test of downdrafts and sidedrafts of the same size and then try a few more pulls with an all out race setup with a set of 55's to see how much power we can get from the motor. With the longer runner we are hoping to get more usable torque and horsepower over a broad rpm range. I'd like to also try it with a 4bbl as well but we won't have the entire days use on the dyno.

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to give you all an update... I was down at Moon Equip. today and saw that Blue Thunder makes a one piece adapter to allow a 289 intake to be run on a 351W block - how sweet is that! This works out perfectly for everyone with the 289 and 351W in their Cobra. Oh, and don't forget to let the wife know what you want for Christmas!

Chris
