They said "It couldn't be done". Well I am past the hard part. Located in the 289 A-Pillar is a Jaguar 4HU. Thank you Joe Stanley!

Not bad for a rookie....

I saw Jeff and the car over the weekend. He's really making some good progress. He has a lot of cool parts we haven't seen yet ready in the wings.

Larry

Bill Kemper, standard issue 289 Cobra part. Although I think it was an optional part as not all 289's I have seen have this part both front and back. Since I am doing the comp route I decided it was more important to have sway bars than rugs etc.....

If it doesn't help performance it will not be on this car..... LOLOL

Nice touch with the hand written chassis number on the spring tower. Very accurate!

Thumbs up

Jeff,

What you’re doing here is very impressive. This is what I’d call a “real build thread”. I’m looking forward to seeing this one after you’ve made the finishing touches. She’s not only going to be beautiful but truly unique as well… you know what I mean, just like the “real” Cobra’s.

Kurt

Kurt

Thank you, each step is by hand, parts are NOS when possible and details (in my opinion) very close to a 60's car.

Many thanks!
