Great Score Jeff. I am amazed at how you are able to find all of these rare parts.

Jeff, are you going to use a regular windshield and get a hardtop?

Tom

I do have a regular windshield, will use it later in season.
Hard tops are great but probably not as the soft top fits in the trunk. I have a source for one, just cant part with the cash.....

Going back to the wheels and cannibalising this thread, Sorry!

I still have 5 Kidney Bean wheels that were on COB 6046 in the early 80ies. I still believe that they are original. They have spline adaptors to fit the original hubs.
They were mounted just for a few rides and then stored in a dry place for approx. 30+ years. They were all the time with COB 6046 and were given to the each buyer when selling the car as additional fittings. COB 6046 was and is on wire wheels again. Mounted are still old Pirelli P5. Rims are 6.5". What do you think?

You probably already know this. Robbins Covertible tops makes the top ERA sells. A quick google search will bring it up. I know era supplies some of the needed parts. You may need to ask Robbins what they don't include

You missed it on an earlier thread. Have an original top.
Hardware is the hard part. New hardware is different than they had in the day.
Have to have a couple small tears fixed. Worth it for 50 year old top.

Robbins does make a great top.
Would've been my choice if I needed another top.

rarely used.

Car back home, ride was cold as it was a balmy 40.
Was great to have the first ride of the year.
Planning:
Finish trunk
Hook up oil and water temp
Hook up speedo
Get fuel gage reading
Fit top
Stop a couple leaks
Then done...........

Then maybe a new thread with 289 #2. Hmmmmm

Don't you dare. You have nothing to be jealous about. Your car is equally as good.
