Update

John (RACEWHERE) and I have been discussing this and he had seen the original to 2259, open.

Dave Bates suggest none for fuel fumes......

Guessing to just have it trimmed nicely and done.... Then I can drive on days when weather threats....

On to the trunk.......

Superior Interiors trimmed out the top. (I did all the fitting)
Nice to add to the car with all these flash storms lately.
They come highly recommended, great customer service.

Nice catch, nope as confirmed by two 2000 series cars they should be 90 degrees to this.
Common this way with reconstructed cars.

Trunk finally tidy.

Neat! Ignition key from a 65-66 Mustang and trunk key from Smiths. (at least my old MG key was marked Smiths and looked just like that) My first car was a 66 Mustang, and that is both the key and ignition from same.

Looking towards adding new cooling tube to the buggy.
Will allow for changing alt belt with ease.
