Great time, always fun to get the kids involved as they will take over this at some point. Have 2 of my 3 boys into this the other is hopeless as far as cars go.

Rubber buffer or 'Rubber Prep' may do the trick. It's used before applying a tire patch on the inside of a tire. Strips release agents off. A local tire shop would likely give ya a hand. NOT sure how things react on racing tires though... I know you're not supposed to treat them with armoral, etc... so I'm not sure what the rule is on other chemicals too. Test patch the hidden side ; )

According to ERA Chas, the best think for these racing tires is 303 Aerospace Protectant. That is what I am using to protect my Billboards during their long hibernation...
