Dude that thing is awesome! I can't wait to see the finised product! Keep up the good work.

Because I changed my mind about the final paint, I had to change the color of the rims too. I used the 3M rubberized undercoating which makes a great surface.

The GOOD * YEAR Billboard just look awesome especially on Cobras. But they have flaws and on top they are not DOT approved. Avon is the better tire but billboards just look better. So, how about Avon "GY Billboards"?

Some funny stuff...
Right before the body got to the painter I had some glassing to do. http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...m_DSC08701.jpg Pretty funny from the outside when you don't know what's going on. http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...m_DSC08702.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...m_DSC08708.jpg I got the chassis home and the body went to these Dave Braddy of Ennis TX. http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...m_DSC08775.jpg |
I visit Dave and checked out what he has done and brought him a set of steps for his Prowler.
This is what he got so far... http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...m_DSC08916.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...m_DSC08915.jpg This is the team which makes that awesome work. http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...m_DSC08919.jpg Now, they estimated end of March for completion of the body work and paint. That is cool and CHEERS to that!! That's to you guys. http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...e/DSC08843.JPG |
It just looks like the body will be done at the painter this or the next week. The chassis is ready to receive the body.
This enters the build in a pretty exciting period. http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...m_DSC08986.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...m_DSC08990.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...m_DSC08991.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...m_DSC08988.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...m_DSC08992.jpg |
I really try to keep the interior strictly business. My wife asked me for the floor mats, I have to admit they look great.

Getting close! Only 3 years, not bad.
I admire the hell out of you scratch builders. :) This you deserve! Quote:

Hi G-Pete. In the posting/thread about Goodyear lettering, you talk about ordering the rubber Googyear letters and receiving them (great pics) but you don't say where (the company name) you got the letters from.
Could you share that with us? Cheers Greg |
