Steering wheel isn't correct yet they make a number of references to it! You think a KMS?

So Jeff & Larry, if I read this right this car is not more than a Title with some bit's and piece's?? Spot on Jeff, these "Little Boy's" need a lesson in history Someone may pay that, it's in Monaco where (Money) hangs out Cheers Tom.

From the registry it’s without title.
It’s a tribute as it’s light on original parts even excluding it as an air-car.
The real car in US is titled as the real car however reconstructed from a Coupe bits and pieces.

This car is a scratch built tribute as it looks.
Guessing it’s not a KMS, could be.
Could be a Gelsco?

yes it seems to be the same car, (btw none of them is blue )

it is common understanding that the blue car is the original
but the first add explains that the black one is the original

thougts?

This is the car advertised for sale in Monaco. (The silver yacht behind it is an awesome 90 foot Pershing 9X that runs well over 40 knots with surface piercing drives.)

The thing I dislike the most about the 289 FIA / USRRC Cobras. These exhaust pipes are practically resting on the pavement! That car with the suspension travel set at less than two inches (remember - the tires also flex and compress) could probably be driven on a very smooth track. Many old photos of original USRRC/FIA Cobras show a fairly high ride height that I ASSume was to keep the pipes off the ground. Higher center of gravity and awful aerodynamics - not to mention ugly - no wonder the 427 competition cars switched to a much more sensible SIDE pipe design to allow larger diameter pipes without completely compromising ground clearance/ride height.
More pics
Note the clearance between the top of the tires and the fenders.

Below: They figured it out with the development of the "turd". Even larger diameter pipes moved to the side of the car instead of underneath allowed for a much lower ride height. Compare to the chassis ground clearance of the 289 car directly behind it.

CSX2345 and CSX2196 (The Turd), both leaf spring cars. CSX3002 (not pictured) was the first coil spring car.

You mean this (last picture from the link quoted by xb-60):

I think that is 3002.

However, the Turd/Flip Top is 2196, not 3002.

Looking at the photo a little closer, it looks like left to right is CSX2345, CSX2196, CSX2000 and CSX2002. 2002 is just a guess though. Can't see much of it.
