Bill S. & Jim, have good points here. As an ex-racer myself, I'd always wanted a (Real) Cobra, and back in the 70's I could afford one, but Racing was my passion, and so that's what I did for 40+years, I still regret nothing with that decision, (The great friends I still have from that time). After retiring from racing it was time for a Cobra, and buying a reproduction was no problem (Real Cobras) were WAY out of my price range. I always believe where there is will, there's a way. If you truly want a Cobra to honor your stepdad, Go for it, you may have to sell some things, or wait on others, like I did, but trust me it's worth it, the reward will be ten-fold. It will give you a glimpse what your stepdad so enjoyed. Good Luck, TommyRot.
