Good Idea Karl!
1. Take them off
2. Cut them with a cut-off saw
3. Remove the innards
4. Weld them back up
5. Have them coated!!!!!!!!!!!!
But here is another thought--run about two or three tanks of 110 octane and you may not need to do all that.
