The first two years of SN95 were 5.0 powered cars, so you can probably just use the pan, mounts, etc for that year of car.

hssss; I know it will physically fit, just not sure if the K memebers are the same or similar......I do have a supply of early 351-W blocks as well as early 302 blocks to build on....I have one of each in my 2 65's and am very pleased with the 331 stroker....Intakes and road race oil pans of other related items are a little easier to find and more plentiful for the 302 rather than the 351-W.....I'm not totally sure which engine combo I would use, but leaning towards the 331 vs. the 351........

RD; thanks, I'll check them out, went to another SVT site yesterday and joined up,but for some reason I can not post there yet........

Sal;I was hoping to get a 95 model, but there are not many out there, there is a ton of 96 to early 2000 model cars though......One person told me he thought all I would have to do would be change out the motor mounts from the 4.6L to the 5.0L, I could only hope it would be this simple......I have seen the trans. crossmembers out there for just about any trans imaginable including the toploader.....
If all I need are the 5.0L motor mounts, this would be a very easy swap/build, just need to confirm it.......I also found a totaled out 95 Mustang Cobra that the salvage yard told me I could have pretty much any parts I needed relatively cheap, such as the motor mounts, alternator and power steering brackets and odd parts like that......

Thanks to all for the replys.....

David

Just did some more research into the K-members and this is what I found.........

1995 model;K-member Ford part # F4ZZ 5025A
1996 thru 2003 Ford part # 2R32 5025 BA

Very similar part #'s......

May only need a simple motor mount swap for the engine swap........

While poking around I found this thought it might be of interest.

I was talking with a friend who is a licensed auto rebuilder who told me he had the running gear out of a late Lightning for sale.
