Just a thought since I am not aware of a go to thread for this type of information nor aware of an opinion poll.

Like I mentioned before my friend, you have nothing to apologize for or be ashamed of buying your Roush engine. You have a great looking and fun HP & TQ numbers, plus they sound awesome. I must, bling my cobra and engine with chrome & polished aluminum, other cobra owners leave the motor and aluminum un-painted and natural and tease me about my bright work, and that's fine, it's built the way I want it, and the same goes for you !
I'll bet when people see what's under your hood, you get people in ahh,...ohoo !,...as it's a wonderful engine. I just think you pay extra for the Roush name, just as with his Mustang line up. If I had the money, a Roush Mustang would also be in my garage.

Here's my opinion about overpriced engines. We race 360/410 winged dirt cars and build our own motors. For us to build a brand new everything, from the injection to oil pan, it's around $30,000. From any of the famed sprint car engine builders, it's around $40,000, the aluminum 410 apx. $55,000 (+).

The same 700 to 900 HP/TQ built by us or them.

There is no,.....difference in parts, between our engine or these famed builders, so why pay the extra, just because of their "name factor" ?

I believe that you pay extra for the Roush name, where as with Keith, Barry, and others, you don't.

That's all I'm saying bud & have fun !!!

Magnificent-
