Cobra Make, Engine: factory five roadster with a stock 87 302

302 ho valve adjustment

I have an 87 302 ho with hyd roller lifters.Do you tighten the stud bolt to a specific torque and measure clearance and adjust with longer or shorter push rods or adjust with the stud bolt.
