Well, we all know Chas. is "wound a bit tight" to begin with.  I just thought he might feel better, and the reading audience would get a better appreciation for what really happened, if he simply told us the full story. Right now he's left it with "I think I got screwed 20+ years ago, and I'm still pi$$ed about it, but I'm going to pretend like I'm not (even though I really am)." For all we know, it could have been something innocuous, like delivering the engine a week late and Chas. missed his favorite classic race, or perhaps it was something more. But unless Chas. takes the high road of "full disclosure," we'll never know.... |
