Default Fuel Pump

The carter pump in 1764 seems to be on its way out...i was thinking about going to this:

Stewart Warner Electric Fuel Pumps 82089 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing

I have heard some horror stories about holley and moroso pumps.

The description of the SW pump seems like it is pretty stout and at 7psi shutoff pressure wont flood out my Holley 850...Also it is Very self priming so that's not a problem either.

Thoughts?

Default Any chance you have a photo?

And maybe a short narrative on installation (assuming you are a DIY'er like me)?

-drill and tap frame to accept mounting bracket that comes with pump.
-the in and out line openings on pump are located on the same end so you will have a direct connection to the in but the out will need a u shaped connector to get you in the forward direction from the out line of pump back to main fuel line along frame.

forgot to mention that you might be able to use the same drilled and taped mounting holes of the previous pump bracket.
