James, I've seen an FFR with a nice set-up. Most of our cars do not offer power steering because the short wheelbase does not necessitate the need. I used to have the same mindset until I put more miles on my car. If anything, the firmer steering helps me to keep the car straight and doesn't promote an over-reaction when correcting under hard acceleration or coming out of a corner a little too hot.
