Tremec TKO 600 and Pro 5 Shifter
Hi Everyone -
My engine and trans should be ready within a week. One question i wanted to pose to the group who has had experience with the TKO 600 and the Pro 5Shifter - is it worth upgrading to the Pro 5 prior to the install? Does it make that much more of a difference? I have experienced the 2-3 missed shift in some past test drives but attributed that to my lack of familiarity with the car. Are the new TKO's improved enough with the stock shifter that the Pro 5 upgrade isnt necessary anymore? I plan on using the stock superformance shift handle and wondered if any mod's need to be done if using a Pro 5. Thanks for any opinions or comments.
(my search for "Pro 5" didnt turn up that much).
