Default Trailer Wheel Alignment in DFW?

Can anyone refer me to a shop, preferably in the North Metroplex, that aligns tandem wheel trailer axles? My car hauler has one tire that is wearing the outside edge. I suspect the axle may need to be bent a little bit.

Thanks,
Sam

Sounds like the axle is bent if it's only one wheel. It would be easier to just replace the axle.

Call Joe at Thomson Tire in McKinney. He is the best old school alignment specialist in the Metroplex.
He will direct you to the right people.
I have had great work performed at Petro (sp.) Trailer in McKinney. Same day/next day work on our church's landscape trailer.
These two places are within a 1/2 mile of each other so it could be easy.

Thanks, Paul .. just what I need.

redmt, I appreciate your comment. We'll see whether replacing the axle is necessary. I have had some input that simply bending the axle back into alignment is do-able.

I'm never that lucky. When I bend 'em they're usually BENT. Most of the time it will be the right side front spindle from dropping the tire into potholes along the road.

Sam,
I have had trailer wheel alignment done previously in Waco at Central Texas Frame and Alignment, Inc. (they also have a shop in Waxahachie) and give them a very favorable recommendation if you can't find anyone in your area.
You are correct on fixing the problem...it is "doable"
