Go Michigan (gag, choke, puke)
I just have to chear on the big ten for this one. Bring the roses home. Ohio State did their part for the big ten. I thought Oklahoma State was supposed to be a tough team? I thought we where playing a MAC team there for a while!

This is a tuff call for me. I'm a OSU grad and always pull for the Big10. But Michigan...................ugh.
Then again........what the hell is TEXAS doing in the ROSE BOWL??
MidOHasp: I was at that game (2000). I haven't missed a OSU vs. Michigan game since 1982.
Sure had a good time THIS year!

Cal was USC's biggest win and they just got beat bad by Texas Tech. Oklahoma State took Oklahoma to the wire 38-35 and a pretty bad Ohio State team beat Oklahoma State 33-7.
Auburn went undefeated in the toughest conference in the land and did not get into the Orange Bowl? Give me a break
P.S. Sugar Bowl tickets are sold out and fetching $250 for upper level tickets. From what I hear you have to beg someone to give face value for the "game everyone wants to see" the Orange Bowl with USC vs Oklahoma. Maybe Sufers and farmers are too poor to pay over $100 per ticket?

HI all,
I see Texas Tech found their way to California. The game was closer than I figured it would be.

Terry, I was there, this year, not as much fun for me!. I haven't missed one since '89. Shorter streak, but still not bad. Plan on keeping it alive a LONG time.
You owe it to yourself to pull for the Big10. I was rooting for OSU Wednesday night (the Ohio one) ! Big10 gets no respect. We know better.
There is only one team I hate more than OSU, and it is FSU. But unless an OSU loss means something good for Michigan by default, I only root against them when they play Michigan.
Keep the faith, man!!!

HOW ABOUT THOSE RED RAIDERS !!!
I don't understand all the whining about TEXAS being in the Rose Bowl.
It could be alot worse, like we have the Aggies here in Dallas for the Cotton Bowl tomorrow.

Did CAL just get the hell beat out of them or what? Looks like the talking heads may be correct in that the PAC 10 is overated.

Hell of a game.
Its now the Yellow Rose Bowl. I think everyone got their moneys worth. Oklahoma and S.C. will have to go some to have a better game.

What a game!! Texas shouldn't be there? Why not ? THEY really played a great game. My next door neighbor is a Michigan fan and since I'm moving to New Braunfels,TX. he wanted to see Texas get it #SS kicked. DIDN'T HAPPEN!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR

Have to give it to the Horns, they played a great game. That quarterback is a slippery SOB!
I figured whoever had the ball last was going to be the winner. Both defenses were tired.
As far as people saying that they didn't believe Texas should have been there.......well I was one of those myself. Not because I felt they couldn't play with a Big10 team (I respected the Horn's and knew they had a tough team) but because I like the tradition of the Big10 - Pack10 matchup.
Today, the Bowl Games are all about the $$$. "Tradition" is (sad to say) LONG gone.
Congrats to Texas! Hell of a game.

It was a hell of a game.
As a Texas grad, believe me, Texas didn't want to be there either. Michigan was there because of the automatic Big 10 berth. Texas was there as the 4th-seeded team in the BCS. Texas would have rather have had a shot at Auburn (why are they playing Va Tech)?.
But it looks like Utah really got the shaft. They are really good.
It's the BCS system that's the problem.
