With regrets
It's with deep regrets we're going to have to cancel our trip to San Marcos this year due my mothers failing health. I just canceled my reservations for Thur, Fri and Sat at the Embassy Suites if anyone is looking for a room. We hope everyone has a great time, take lots of pictures, hope for clear skies and a safe time. Until next time,
Cheers,
Bill & Diane

Hope to get the 3002 replica down tomorrow, weather permitting. It looks like the group will be at the Oasis for lunch, is that still on?

We left the Embassy Suites at 12:45. Only one trailer on the lot by then, and all of our former Cobra parking spaces rapidly filling up with civilian vehicles.
Jay N. was walking out right behind me. Hope he turned out the lights!!
Great meet, nice facilities. Hope we can do the same next year.

Great Hotel, super parking, crazy friends and loads of laughs, "the cruise maps sucked" per SSSSammmy...how many times did we do "U" turns???, the Hotel toasters were not high tech, the Hotel Staff were awsome, the Austin Event Planners did the BEST EVER, and Thank You!

I agree, great event! I am glad other people had trouble with the maps, I was left behind so many times. I was pulled into a parking lot on the way to the oasis trying to figure out where I was on the map and a guy walked up and asked if I needed help. I told him where I was going, he said turn around and go back to san marcos then take 35. He didn't understand why I wanted to take back roads.
