Sammy, What do you mean "rubbing Shelton"...Jackie's called the attorney...I'm catching all kinds of flack....I called Shelton for an explanation and there was none. What??? I pride myself on being a clean driver. I never laid a hand on him. What are you implying. Hell, I saw you waving to DB in that video you posted. What does that mean? Please explain and save my marriage! Help!

Oh, by the way I never said anything about that lame straw cowboy hat you were wearing at Hallet...

Default Geeezzz!

Larry, didn't you ever watch that NASCAR coming of age movie "Days of Thunder" with Tom Cruise and his mentor Robert Duvall ...

"No, no, he didn't slam you, he didn't bump you, he didn't nudge you... he *rubbed* you. And rubbin, son, is racin'. "

Tell Jackie that your masculinity is not in question and come down off the ceiling

... and that's a goddam genuine Carrol Shelby Replica Cowboy hat! I gave $20 for that at the genuine Ford souvenier trailer

Dear Texas Cobra Club Faithful,

Again, I want to thank the folks at Texas Driving Experience for the Roval Day last weekend, Friday, September 11th 2009.

I forgot to make mention of other members of Dawn's crew in my first post. Brook and Lisa in the front office were great getting us situated with registration and waiver forms, tech requirements, and prepayment.

My documentary of the day is hosted at the jshel1 website (see below).
I hope you will share with your friends.

John,

As always very well done thanks for sharing.

You have to be more experience driving in the rain than any other Cobra driver on earth.

Great videos. You can add my name to the list on the next event.

btw - how fast were you all going on the longer stretches? It is deceiving in the videos.

James,
116 on the front straight for me. Larry's Daytona and Sam's ERA some faster. The guy in the GT told me 130 on the same stretch.

Kristen,
We miss you. I guess we will all have to pack up and come out to a volleyball or some other school-sporting-event.

John

Default Way cool video!

Finally had time to look .. wow, John .. you are a producer! I spent most of a weekend trying various video things to get mine posted on YouTube. I have a version with the Eagles doing "Life in the Fast Lane" to take the place of the missing Cobra audio but I am not sure about posting it due to copyrights.

One of your shots was of the #63 SuperSport behind me ... that was the lap after I passed him, but then I went in due to low fuel. James, he and I were hitting 120 on the front straight and 110 into turn 1. It was hard not to let off for the turn, but DB said it was OK

K, we have been doing an event every Sat for weeks just on the hope that you might join us for something

Next up in two weeks ... you know what ... Run 'N Gun!! Last time in St. L, next time in Nebraska.

Sam
