Unless your name is John Shelton. The forecast looks like we should be good in the afternoon with a high of 77. Storms overnight.

Nope, Shelton was at lunch. He brought it with him. All in all it wasn't so bad for me. The sprinkle stopped about 1 mile North. By the time I got home the car is dry.

Yep....I was just ahead of Dave and saw a few sprinkles on the windshield leaving but roads stayed drive and of course when I jumped on the Bush and stuck my foot in it the rain drops went by-by. Did my usual quick detailer when I got home.....Guess don't have to change my ad now that says never has seen rain. Great seeing everyone! Still dry up here in Frisco at 4:30pm. Just had a call from Rob (C&S Perf) and looks like the custom 70 Mustang took second place at Good Guys. Said John Ross bailed when he saw the rain coming.....

Fun lunch guys, especially the part where we heard "rain!" and we did our best Le Mans start imitation! As David said, just a few drops and I think we can continue to say "never driven in the rain" because the wipers never came on!
If anyone wants to kill some bugs before our next brunch, give me a shout.

1st car out of the lot & headed South
Well,
John jr & I REALLY enjoyed having lunch with everyone yesterday & when we opened the door heading out to the parling lot to some fairly good sized raindrops we jumped in the car and headed South and into the rain. We were in a light rain almost all the way home but it was only something to laugh about all the way with a lot of people staring at us.
Today, we are putting the top back on the car!!
The boys
ps will post some pictures later

Welcome to a New Member...
Bob Skinner, owner of a HP302 powered Backdraft, was driving by and saw our lineup at The Filling Station. We welcomed his stopping by and visiting with us. Hope to see him at a future Monthly First Saturday Meet.
