Nice pics. It's extremely helpful being able to review and gain insight from someone elses build. I'm completing my first build also and the pics from this site are priceless. Where did you locate the headers for your BB and how is the footbox clearance on the drivers side?

Marc, my big block headers came with the kit from Don, but I believe he got them from Hooker. I had a little fitmit problem with the drivers side in regards to clearances to the body but not with the foot box. There is about 3/4" - 1" clearance. I am placing a heat shield between the headers and the footbox you can see part of it where it goes over the master cylinders in my photo gallery. I wanted to shield them from as much heat as I can. The passenger side had so much room I widen the passenger footbox by 2".

I notice you have one of Don's newer versions of the EVO. Pretty nice when it comes with some of the newer added touches like places to mount brakelines etc. Enjoy your build, I certainly am enjoying mine.

Hi guys,i've been doing some work on my D&D this summer and i will try to upload some photos shortly, just didn't know how to do it but Don told me how so i will try,i still have some pictures in my camera to download. My engine and tranny are in and i'm working on the electrical right now,it's messy but i will shorten the wires eventually. Still waiting for a few parts from Don. Hope to get the engine running next summer if i have my headers.

Default Some progress and some regress !!!

Hi Greg,Just came back from the Dominican Republic (not to piss anybody off)and I will try to put some pictures during my christmas holiday.
My build is progressing slow 'cause i'm a perfectionnist and i'm working when I feel like it and now it's too cold. I hate winter.
I got the engine and tranny in,brakes done wiring the dash and all my wiring is laid out, mostly connected. I keep repositioning stuff as i go, have to redo my console, didn't like the look of the padding,i'm still experimenting with that stuff, never done it before so it's consumming my progress. I'm relocating the battery so have to redo the batt. cable lenght bla! bla !bla ! I figure at the pace i'm going(which is slow) and i'm still awaiting parts from Don,will take me another summer. I am determined to get this puppy running this summer if i get my parts from Don (oops did i repeat myself here) paint the year after. Merry Christmas to all the Cobra guys.
