Without having to use a chart the conversions back and forth between ˚C and ˚F can be done with the following two converters;
˚C to˚F
(˚C x 9) ÷ 5 +32 = ˚F
....100˚C x 9 = 900
.... 900 ÷ 5 =180
....180 + 32 = 212˚F
Going the other direction,
˚F to˚C
(˚F - 32) x 5 ÷ 9 = ˚C
.... 212˚F -32 =180
.... 180 x 5 = 900
.... 900 ÷ 9 = 100˚C
100% accurate in both directions no matter what temp you start at.
