If I'm building another engine, Brent will be at the top of my list of people who I speak to about my new engine. 
 
However, no where in that conversation will I ask or demand Brent for a solid flat tappet cam, for the same reason that there are no rotary telephones anymore nor are there many dial-up Internet connections left in the world. either. Technology has moved on.

 Oh, dang.  It's not like me to misunderstand something like that.  But I agree with you on Brent.  I think he's an excellent engine builder, and a sweetheart of a guy to boot. 		Whats the max rpm that still makes horse power with this hydro roller cam? 
  
5600-800 or so max (I'm guessing)? Of course the actual cam profile will be dependant on a number of variables supplied by the customer, but in general, what would the useable rpm range at this price. 		Ernie, I usually aim for around 5500 with a hydraulic roller.  Considering if you're running through the gears, you usually shift about 500-600 rpm higher than peak hp rpm.  I feel that's pretty safe for a hydraulic roller cam and if more hp/rpm is needed, then I go with a solid roller.
