Default Clutch recommendation for 408w tko 600

Okay guys..you've been extremely helpfull in my previous post. Now, I need a clutch pressure plate recommendation. I have a Superformance that will get the engine tranny swap as soon as all the parts I've order come in. Engine 408w approx. 550hp and a little less torque. I'm replacing the tko 500 with a 4617 tko 600 with .82 overdrive. I plan on using the stock bellhousing with the hydraulic clutch setup. I'm not reving to the moon nor will I be banging gears. Anyhow, I would like to have a clutch setup with a stock or light pedal feel yet be able to handle the motor in a 2500 lb car. Tell me what you've got and if you are pleased or disappointed. Thanks much!

Diaphram type (belleville washer) are light on pedal pressure with great holding power. I'd recommend the Centerforce II.

I have two setups that work perfect on a TKO. I use Centerforce Clutches.

I would recommend the RAM Powergrip clutch kit for this application. Very light pedal pressure, but rated for 550hp. I sell a bunch of these to Cobra guys and never hear of any bad street manners. Very affordable too.

If you would like a price quote, just shoot me a PM, email, or give me a buzz: 502.759.1431.

Another vote for the Centerforce dual friction clutch. I make a little over 550 ft/lbs, and I beat on the car pretty hard at the track. I'm not always real gentle on the street, either. The clutch holds up just fine, and I never worry about it.

Blittleton...Will the stock hydraulic setup on a Superformance work or what is the advantage of your system?
