Here is the basic shape of the flare on the body. A mirror image will be made for the other side, then glued / blended...

Fender flares look great!

jmimac351 07-11-2012 07:22 PM

I'm glad you like them, Hyde. I agree, I think they are just right. That was important to get "right" for the overall look. Really happy with how it's coming together.

PDUB 07-11-2012 11:38 PM

Looks good:D! What is your hope for getting it down south?

CobraBoy 07-12-2012 09:50 AM

 What an amazing project! Fabulous work, jmimac351! :D I'll be watching progress.

Ran into an issue with these big tires on the front. Have to go with spats on the front (which I am happy about). The tire is tipped out a fair amount with positive camber so once it is aligned I think we'll be in good shape.

This will be the world's first split spat to account for the flip front. Such a cool project and Bruce's work is looking stellar!

- Allen.

I was thinking the same thing... he'll be cutting those suckers!

jmimac351 09-16-2012 12:03 PM

I managed to procure a set of NOS Radium-tipped switches. Very happy...
