since the term 'second strike" has nuclear connotations and is banned in China. Is there another way I can get this detail, can you send me a PM? Thanks, John, AKA, tin-man

tin man,

I went to Voss today and saw some beauties including your Cobra.
The president of GoPro has his awesome GT40 there, Doug's Brock Coupe as well as a few CSX's, SPF Cobras and a couple hot rods.

I'm sure your anxious. Hang in there.

I wish I could say your wait is extreme but I have come to learn from my experience and others that no matter what Roush and others promise, it will tKe 3-4 more months than that. Hopefully soon but you were promised your car back about 4 months ago if I remember. i would start putting osme pressure on them to step it up and finish as I am sure they have already collected your money.

Sometimes the squeaky wheel gets the cobra faster (or somethig like that)

however, we are on track to have the car complete so I can pick it up during the first two weeks of March. I'll be returning to the US at that time so it works out well for me.

Yeah, its a crying shame I could not get it during Christmas but I would rather wait a little while longer so it's done right and gets some pre delivery miles on it by Erick.

The single biggest downside of being an expat is stuff like this, I cannot be in somebodys face in person and must resort to either phone or email and its not the same, at least for me.

That said, I am a patient guy [gotta be workin' in China] and look at in this way, when I do take delivery, all the crap, delays and dissapointments I have been thru will evaporate.

Cheers, John,AKA, tin-man

This is a very true statement "That said, I am a patient guy [gotta be workin' in China] and look at in this way, when I do take delivery, all the crap, delays and dissapointments I have been thru will evaporate."

Its amazing you get so pissed off and then bang you drive the car have a blast and almost instantaneously everything is right in the world. I will worn you though if you have more problems you get pissed off quicker, but take it for a drive and bang you are again happy.

Those are caps to prevent particles from entering the oil cooler until it is plumbed to the oil system. I gave mine a quick blast of compressed air just prior to hook up just to be sure.

Edit - sorry...thought the first page was the last one. I see the blue cap question was answered on page 2.

Default Finally, we got an engine installed.

So, its just a matter of a few more weeks for tweaks and run in and we'll be ready to rumble.

Hey tin-man,
Just saw the pics. Missed them before, somehow. So, that's what 572hp looks like? Nice, but...is that enough power?
Cheers,
Glen

Glen, well I suppose I could always add a couple of Paxton blowers and a Roush turbocharger, but I am thinking, maybe it will be just fine as is. I'll let you know when I have had the opportunioty to drive the Beast of Roushwerks.

Cheers, John, AKA, tin-man
