Hey Tin,
I know your Baby is a Toy for when you are back in the states. Do a little dreaming and tell us what a trip from your China home to work would be like. What kind of reaction would a fire breathing beast like this evoke in rush hour traffic? dream on brother!!

I had planned on providing a picture presentation of my return from Zhuhai to the States but I will include a revese sequence from my works so you can see what this city looks like. Sorta like a mix between Hawaii and Singapore. One of the best kept secrets in China. BTW it has its own FI racetrack and is a ten minute walk from Macao. Macao, makes Vegas seem glitzy and has really great casinos. Plus, err, hmmm, how can I put this delicately, what happens in Macao stays in Macao and the ladies here are stunning. Of course this is what I have read, wink, wink. John, AKA, tin-man

Tin Man
Clay Cook does great work and no they are not cheaper direct from them. At least they weren't from me. Since Roush didn't have them ready to market, they sent me directly to them for this but I paid a fair more than that for mine. You got a good deal.

I think should offer them standard on a motor that is an expensive as that one and as many problems as they have had with those K&N not supplying enough filtering power. Also for anyone else thinking of the 511 and a CSX combo, These air cleaners are a must as the standard K&n Filters supplied wont fit under a stock CSX hood. I learned the hard way.

Congrats, Tin-man!
Maybe I should take a stroll to Erick's shop and take a peek
Erick knows the 511IR pretty darn well and seems to get better results than anybody. Good work.
Keep the pictures coming when complete.

Don, I drove a Shelby ten years ago and did a 360 when I missed the downshift and was breaking and accelerating at the same time. It certainly left an indelible mark on my mind. I sorta had a DWRAT moment. The only question I have now is how will I rev this beast when going thru a tunnel? tin-man

little does this gracefull Gazelle from Africa realize what the boys will do when the Beast of Roushwerkes straps on his torque controller and Erick of Voss Performance hoists them up on a pulley and shoves the combo deeply into the engine compartment of the roller, gasp, oh, oh, but then......well you get the picture, an American Legend is born. Freudian moment, kinky, WTF, is all commin' together, yeah, so it must be the angst fryin' my mind. Generally I am a mild bible thumping church going fine upstandin gent, but I gotta tell ya, this waiting is driving me nuts....... I need a drink. John, AKA, tin-man

That's a nice shot. Do they put the engine/trans in as a single unit? Or do they put the engine in by itself and then put the trans in separately?

Patrickt, based on a video I saw of Erick at work he inserts the entire engine-tranny assemby and then works his magic putting all the rest of the components together. . John. AKA, tin-man
